Use and care

Before first use, immerse the dummy in boiling water for five minutes, remove and let it cool out of the water. For daily care, wash with warm water and mild liquid soap. Do not use a bottle steriliser or dishwasher, or leave in boiling water after the initial clean. Before every use, inspect and pull in all directions; discard at the first damage, or if rubber becomes sticky or markedly dark. Replace approximately every 8–12 weeks with the age-appropriate size, sooner if needed. Do not attach pins, cords, ribbons or decorations; they create strangulation or choking hazards. Do not dip in sweet or oily foods. Store dry, covered and away from sunlight or heat. Follow all pack safety instructions. For orthodontic use, place the flat side of the teat towards the tongue.
